So I've had a few people inquire at Los Lirios and it seems that they will NOT be doing the stay two nights get the third 50% off for July.  That deal ends July 3rd.  Boo!  So if you were planning on staying there, I guess there is no reason to wait.

In addition to our page about Hotels in Tulum, I wanted to post about some more hotels in the area.

Ocho Tulum - is a new hotel that seems really nice. We will be staying there after the wedding for a change in scenery.

Suenos Tulum was closed while we were visiting, but it's back.  Many people on tripadvisor and tulum.info rave about it and are very happy to see its return.  Here is a NY Times article about the hotel.

Shambala Petit was a really super cute hotel in Tulum.  I remember the cabanas being on the small side, but it does look pretty cool.  I think there are 10 cabanas and only 8 of them have private bathrooms.

Then if you want a seriously basic hotel with AC, try Parayso.  The rates start at $150.  The rooms are large and spacious, but super super duper basic.  Kinda bad college furniture.  But each room has a balcony and 24 electricity.

If you don't need to be on the beach, here are some other hotels that seem really lovely.

Posada Luna del Sur - has rates as low as $70 per night.

Don Diego de la Selva - has a beautiful garden.  Rates are around $80-100.

The wedding is sooooooooooo soon!  I can't wait.
